In today's post we gather three beautiful and inspiring nursery feature / accent wall decor ideas for your little ones bedroom or nursery.
Painting Striped Walls
Source: Decorating Cents
Painting striped walls is such a simple but effective solution to decorating your children's room its hardly a surprise it features in our top 3 nursery decor ideas.
It requires minimal effort and materials and is perfect if you're on a budget.
All you need is a paint brush, your chosen paint, some masking tape and a little bit of patience.
Our friends at Decorating Cents have some excellent tips in getting a nice clean line in their guide. It involves using masking tape to set the border lines of your horizontal stripes, little mistakes can be made without it being costly and having to start again.
We think the result is modern, easy to do and it don't require any wallpapering with messy wallpaper paste either.
Polka Dot Nursery Decor
Polka dot nursery stickers are still a relevant and modern look for new baby rooms since it allows for complete customisation.
You can often search online and find stores offering a variety of colours to suit your colour theme as well as the number of dots you require.
They can be used as a complete feature wall or to decorate a small area in a cluster for maximum effect.
Our favourite colour theme is a pastel theme such as the pink colours above. They work well against a white or off white plain painted wall for a girls bedroom.
Clouds Nursery Decor
Our final favourite are these cloud nursery decor stickers, they work well in neutral theme nursery rooms. Like cloud stickers, they are often available in a variety of colour and sizes from as little as £7.49.
They are super easy to apply, simply peel and stick these to any clean wall and you're done. When it comes to the removal they can be peeled off without damage to walls since they are semi permanent.
If they are firmly attached you're best off using a hair dryer to loosen the glue behind the sticker.
Cloud stickers is our favourite of the three. For ease of application, simplicity, and ability to be used for both boy and girls nursery rooms.
